Our Practice runs dedicated clinics for coil and implant insertion. These clinics operate on a waiting list basis and are scheduled once we have sufficient numbers of patients to fill a clinic. Dr Jane Gallagher visits the Practice specifically to provide this service and as such, we are unable to offer insertions outwith scheduled clinic dates.

Our Primary Care Mental Health Nurse holds clinics every second Tuesday and each Friday, offering support to patients aged 17 and over. You can book directly by contacting Practice Reception.

The nurse provides guidance, self-help strategies and if appropriate, medication for a range of issues including anxiety and stress, low mood and depression, trauma and relationship concerns.

They can also advise on managing symptoms related to Autism and ADHD (though not assess or diagnose), and discuss the appropriateness of referrals to other services. 

The Practice benefit from the support of two Advanced Nurse Practioner clinics each week, ona Wednesday and Thursday. ANPs are highly trained clinicians who can assess, diagnose, and manage a wide range of health conditions. These clinics are specifically available to support patients who require urgent medical attention that cannot wait until the next routine appointment.

 If you contact the Practice to request a same-day appointment on a Wednesday or Thursday, you may be offered an appointment with an ANP.
